The rules for using the FCJ Design store and purchasing our products.
Agreement to These Terms
By accessing shop.fcjdesign.com, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies linked from this site. If you do not agree, do not use the store.
Accounts and Lawful Use
You are responsible for accurate account and order information, safeguarding your login credentials, and activity under your account. You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it for unlawful activity.
Product Information
We work to present accurate descriptions, dimensions, images, materials, and availability. Because 3D printed and hand-finished products may have natural layer lines, minor color variation, or small finishing differences, a finished item may not be identical to a screen image. These normal characteristics are not defects.
Order Acceptance
An order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order; it does not guarantee acceptance. FCJ Design may decline or cancel an order because of availability, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, shipping limitations, rights concerns, or production feasibility. If we cancel after payment, we will issue an appropriate refund.
Pricing, Taxes, and Payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, discounts, and the order total are shown during checkout. Payments are processed through Stripe. You authorize the applicable charge when you submit an order.
Custom and Personalized Products
Custom work depends on the specifications, files, references, approvals, and deadlines you provide. You represent that you have permission to use submitted content. Quotes and schedules may change if the scope changes. Once production begins, custom and personalized products generally cannot be canceled or returned for change of mind.
Digital Products
A digital purchase grants the buyer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for the use described on the product page. Unless expressly permitted, digital files may not be resold, redistributed, shared publicly, sublicensed, or used to create competing file products. Download access may be limited for security and order management.
Shipping and Delivery
Production and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Shipping costs and available methods are presented at checkout when applicable. Risk of loss transfers as allowed by applicable law when an order is delivered to the address supplied by the customer. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds
Eligibility for cancellation, return, replacement, or refund is governed by our Refund Policy at https://shop.fcjdesign.com/refund-policy. Contact us promptly if an order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Intellectual Property
The FCJ Design name, branding, website design, product photography, original designs, text, and other site content are owned by FCJ Design or used with permission. No ownership rights are transferred except for a written license that accompanies a specific product.
Third-Party Services
Checkout, payment, shipping, authentication, or other features may rely on third-party services. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply, and FCJ Design is not responsible for an outage or act outside our reasonable control.
No Guaranteed Outcome
Product suitability depends on the intended use and information supplied by the customer. Prototypes and custom prints are not represented as certified for safety-critical, medical, structural, food-contact, or regulated uses unless FCJ Design expressly agrees in writing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FCJ Design is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability relating to a product or order will not exceed the amount paid for that product or order. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing Law and Changes
These terms are governed by Illinois law and applicable United States law. We may update these terms as the store changes. The updated date identifies the current version, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
